With 3-year runtime & DualSense® Technology, Tango TX1 gas detectors increase worker safety, regardless of bump test frequency, while reducing overall costs.
- Tango TX1 is the world’s first-ever single-gas detector to use two sensors to detect the same gas.
- DualSense® Technology makes Tango users 85 times safer.
- 3 years continuous battery runtime.
Significantly increases worker safety
DualSense™ Technology increases worker safety, regardless of bump test frequency. Your workers will be significantly safer with the Tango TX1 than any other single-gas detector on the market today. *
Longer battery life
Operates continuously in an “always-on” mode for 3 years. After the battery can no longer support instrument life, it can be replaced for another 3 years of continuous operation.
Louder alarm
Tango TX1 alarms at 100dB at 10cm. This makes it twice as loud as Industrial Scientific’s GasBadge detectors and louder than any other single-gas detector on the market.
For high-noise environments, the alarm volume can be further increased by about 10dB with the optional AlarmAmp™.
DualSense® Technology
DualSense Technology significantly increases worker safety, regardless of bump test frequency.
The Tango TX1 portable gas detector uses patent-pending DualSense™ Technology. This technology was developed to address one of the biggest challenges facing users of single-gas detectors – bump testing instruments.
Bump testing ensures detectors are properly detecting gas and alarming. DualSense Technology includes two of the same type sensor for detection of a single gas. The two sensor readings are processed through a proprietary algorithm and displayed as a single reading to the user.
